ARCHI-TEXTUAL, PLLC is a full service contemporary architecture firm serving the Washington DC metropolitan area, proud to offer the highest possible level of service, responsiveness, and design quality. We are truly passionate about our work and dedicated to bringing our clients the best possible outcome. We are a small yet versatile and efficient team, whose focus at the present moment is single and multi-family new construction and renovation projects, small scale commercial, building re-positioning, corporate interiors, retail and hospitality projects.
Our work reflects our philosophy. We believe very project is unique and should be the simplest possible materialization of its constraints. We call that the project TEXT. With each project we take the site conditions, who our clients are and how they live/work, their program, goals and budget, and transform those constraints into something unique that aims to surprise and surpass expectations.
We embrace in interventions in buildings/homes of any style. When working on interventions on existing buildings/homes, we always aim to create harmony between old and new while maintaining a clear yet respectful distinction between the two. We believe architecture can be of its time while respecting history at the same time.
We work in a truly collaborative manner with our clients, we listen, and we translate rather than impose.
Our Principal, Catarina Ferreira, AIA, is licensed in Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia, and New York and NCARB certified.
